No landline is required.

3. Can I add cameras to my existing alarm system/equipment?

Yes! Sometimes all a home needs is an alarm system upgrade! Newer, more advanced cameras with day & night vison, 1080P HD cameras wired or wirefree.

4. How much is a home alarm monitoring package per month?

We have options to fit just about any budget. Beginning at just $38.95 a month with professional monitoring 24/7 365 days a year.

5. Is a DIY home security system better than a professionally installed home security system?

It’s not that one is better than the other. There are very good options currently out there. The difference is in the customer service however! Our work is guaranteed. You will not have to dial a 1 800 number to reach us, we are local and can be by to repair, replace or upgrade your homes security in a matter of hours or within a day or so. Also, a professionally installed home alarm system may help you qualify for a home-owners insurance discount!

6. If I need to service my home alarm system, how much time can I expect to wait before a technician can be sent to my home?

Again, we are locally owned and operated for almost 40 years. We take great pride in offering impeccable customer service and can usually schedule an appointment within 24 hours of service request.

7. Can I take my home security system with me if I move?

Yes. Maser Security Equipment can be transferred from location to location. Once it is purchased it belongs to you.

8. If my home alarm system is triggered while I’m away from home, How does police response work?

If your home security alarm is triggered, the monitoring station will be notified immediately. Our home security monitoring station will proceed to contact the owner or registered point of contact for your home. At this point a decision is made to dispatch authorities. If you can’t be reached, emergency personnel will be dispatched for maximum safety and security.

9. How often should I test my security equipment to make sure it is working properly?

It is recommended to test your security equipment weekly. It should only take about 5 minutes.

10. Do I need a city permit to install a home security and or home alarm system?

The City Permit pricing is included in your initial payment for the first 3 years for only $76.50, EPPD can be dispatched in case of emergency. Maser Alarms keeps no portion of this expense. It is paid t the city by us for you.
